Human Performance Center Sets New Standard for Athletics

ST. GEORGE, UT (January 15, 2020) — With all the amenities offered at Dixie State University's newest athletics facility, it truly deserves the title of Human Performance Center.

The Human Performance Center in St. Geroge, Utah, is home to the largest indoor climbing wall on any college or university campus. It also boasts an olympic-sized swimming pool with 750 seats for spectators. The second floor above the pool has basketball courts and a MAC gym which can be used for multiple activities including indoor soccer.

The track is a marvel as well, running inside and outside of the building with a sprint hill that connects to the roof where there are more courts for basketball and pickleball and plenty of spectacular red rock views. Our Layton team has done an incredible job on this truly unique project that will benefit Dixie State University and the community at large for many years to come. Take a tour through the video above.
